The project
Soleterre operates in Italy and abroad through three macro-programs: Work is Progress, Health and Emergency. The goal of the initiative is the evolution and global scaling of the organization's Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system. Gnucoop's intervention extends the DINO platform to the entire project portfolio, managing the migration to a new hosting infrastructure, user profiling based on country and program for data segregation, and the reorganization of the information architecture along four dimensions (Case, Project, Country, Thematic Area).
The work includes updating more than 35,000 forms and 10,000 legacy metrics, importing historical data, creating about 10 new data collection schemas and integrating Business Intelligence tools (Looker Studio and PowerBI) for advanced reporting. The system is also enhanced with natively integrated Artificial Intelligence modules (a conversational chatbot using Pandas-AI and open-source LLMs, Voice-to-Data for filling in forms through voice messages, and automatic Data Daily Digests), developed with respect for privacy and keeping data on Soleterre's servers. The activity is completed by multilingual training and documentation (Italian, English and French) to give international staff autonomy.
