**The project**

**The app that brings the management system to the workbench**

For L'Iride Soc. Cooperativa Sociale Onlus, Gnucoop developed an application designed to simplify the management of activities at the workbench, the most delicate point of the cooperative's production chain, where finished and semi-finished products are made and assembled.

The project arose from a concrete need: the interfaces of traditional management programs, although necessary to track data and execution times, were often hard to understand and use, especially for the most vulnerable workers. Gnucoop therefore designed an app with particular attention to usability, able to make daily work simpler without making processes more rigid.

The application made it possible to receive orders and production orders directly at the workbench, to monitor activities through simplified data entry, and to support workers in carrying out assembly tasks through explanatory videos and images. Released features include: a simplified login for workers, audio and video reminders, quick reporting of shift start and end, a count of the semi-finished products made during the shift and automatic data entry into the company's management system.

Developed as a PWA application, the solution can be used on the main operating systems (iOS, Android, macOS and Windows) without the need to install it from a store.
